The Chinese peoples are more pushed to Turkic Mongolian Shamanism since the last none-Han regimes, including the communists. Chinese Communist Party is not Chinese but Turkic Mongolian Manchurian.
On the other hand Islam, Christianity and Judaism are also not genuine religions. All these were also invented by Turkic Mongolian male-only horse-riding bandits with invasions started in 2400 BC in three axes: 1- Sarasvati (Afghanistan, Pakistan and India); 2- Iran, Sumer and Anatolia; and 3- North of Caspian Sea and North Caucasus.
They invented other groups including the Akkadians, the Hyksos, the Hebrews, the Arameans, the Kassites, the Babylonians, the Persians, the Romans, the Jews, the Sabaeans, the Turks, and the Mitanni; and also other subjugated and affiliated groups such as the Kurds, the Berber, the Moors and the Fulani
Islam, Christianity and Judaism are not at all the genuine teachings of Muhammad, Jesus and Moses. The true teachings and heritages of the nations addressed by those teachings were hijacked and twisted by Bedouin Amorites, Romans and Persians.
The Chinese Communist Party’s position towards religion is not ideological but rather political wariness against any sort of social, cultural and political movement that could trigger or assist nationalism and opposition against the Turkic Mongolian Manchurian Hakka coalition that monopolize power and wealth in communist China since 1949.
This hostile position from the CCP toward religion is supported by their ancient groups particularly Jews, Turks, Bedouin Amorites and Romans.
Religion is faced with three main challenges in China: 1- The CCP totalitarian regime practices; 2- the global corruption of heavenly messages; and 3- The suppression and oppressions maintained by foreign groups against Chinese nationalism
